Print Pre-lim Research Analysis.

Audience
My target audience is boys and girls between the ages of 15-18 who study at a secondary school or are taking there A-Levels. My magazine is based upon sixth form life and the different activities which take place within sixth form.

Stories
I have a wide range of different stories within my magazine, the first one being help and support to any students which may be worried about coming to sixth form as they are unsure on what it is like. Also a story based around sixth form life, so what happens within the sixth form e.g. Rockfest or Fund Raising days.

The stories which I decide to put on the front of my magazine must not involve any bad language and I must en-sure that the front cover is clean cut which usually isn't like normal teen magazines. If I were to include swearing on the front of my magazine it could be offensive to some people and wouldn't attract as many people.

Cover Lines and Titles
Many of the magazines which I have researched into do not make there audience want to read it and I believe this is because of originality. An example of a magazine which I researched had the title "My College" personally I believe this title will not attract people's attention and it can portray the magazine as boring. When I begin to write my title I will make sure its catchy and ensure that people want to read it.

Colours
The magazines which I have researched into use bright and bold colours which help to attract their audience. When I am thinking of colours I will use ones which are memorable and which stand out.
