Costume Research.

Victim
My partner Beth Hawker did some research on the film "A Stranger Calls", the victim in this film is just a usual girl with simple clothes. "Jill" wears jeans and a normal top, this is a very simple costume which we may apply to our film opening. By portraying to the audience a naive and average character it helps to increase their fear levels.

Villain
In the shots 14-17, which is nearer the end our 4 Villains appear from the woods behind our victim. The image we are trying to portray is people who are abnormal and scary, as people will be able to relate this to there worst nightmares. We are also planning on using fake blood, this is symbolic as it shows that they have killed people before; ' they have blood on their hands'. From the image below you can see how this villain appears as daunting because you cannot see there identity.

Young Child
imgres.jpgIn our film we have 2 victims, one being our main character Olivia and our other being our young child Chrissie. We are planning on portraying our young girl as innocent and vulnerable. The way we are doing this is to curl her hair and put bows in it, this is so she appears young and cute.
